We were served. Fed well and had drinks whilst listening to Dolly Parton. :)

Wife and I walked in late afternoon, and the server lady didn't even acknowledge us as she was busy playing on her phone. Wife finally got her attention and she seemed annoyed at our presence but seated us, took our order (Can I get a bowl of chili? "NAW we don't have it today") and the food was decent. A few other people came in and received the same grumpy, dismissive attitude. 2 stars as the food was pretty good but overall not a fun place.
Great place! I recommend grabbing a beer and talking with the owners or locals that come through and hear the stories of the town.
The bar itself is the original from the 1860's from what I understood and you can tell by the awesome craftsmanship! It was awesome to have a beer with some Trump supporters! #maga
I have been going to the International since 2008. Back in those days, it was a hub for locals and it had a great menu and staff. In 2017, however, it is a mere visage of its former self. Terrible food and obnoxious staff. Even the locals avoid the place like the plague. It's only a matter of time before they go under. Good riddance. Not representative of Austin.
