Nice place to spend the night. Campground was clean. Some road noise. Hiking trails near by.. can accommodate smaller rvs.

Stayed at the free campground for a few weeks. There is an option that is more convenient, closer to the bathrooms, and offers trailer hookups if you pay $10 a night. To get to the free campground, take a right just before the cattle guard and go through the USFS gated fence. Cars can get to the free campground. The bathrooms are not pristine and also can be out of toilet paper, but the campground is really nice otherwise.

Ok for an overnighter or if you're really into rustic - $5 with Sr pass/$10 reg. Vault toilets filthy and disgusting, couple water spigots scattered around, trash cans overflowing, no hookups. No check in envelopes or stubs so I had to make my own with a regular envelope. Wasn't full the night we stayed. We were in a 27' RV and there are tent sites as well as a group site. Unsure if I'd stay here again even if the price is right.

Decent stop for the night. $10 per night flush toilets but the men's was out of order. The sites are not level. We got there about 5:00 so only a couple sites left. Stayed here in a class b RV.

This is a remarkable little campground owing to its isolation in combination with surprise pleasantries that include excellent Verizon service, fresh water, garbage collection and flush toilets. Proximity to a variety of mountain bike trails and small stands of aspen make it even more notable as a pip in the otherwise hostile Nevada desert. There are 9 spurs and a group site, a handful of which fit trailers over 30'. The northern most sites are preferable due to less road noise. Sadly, though, this campground hasn't received much love in recent times. The toilets are dirty and leaking and at least at the time of our stay trash hadn't been collected in days. Our particular spur also had broken glass around the fire ring. These issues aside the views are spectacular and we enjoyed our stay.
